Core Belief Engineering (CBE) is an extremely effective belief change therapy that helps individuals identify and change limiting, out-dated core belief systems hardwired in the subconscious.
The premise of this therapy is that if a person changes their deeply held beliefs that they will perceive and react to reality in a whole new manner. It’s often been compared to changing software that’s out-dated on your hard drive to a current version that reflects the present day.
It is not hypnosis, and the client is fully conscious throughout the session. The change is directed by the person’s present day mind or what we refer to as our conscious mind’. The ultimate result is a partnership between the subconscious and conscious mind.
In a typical session a CBE practitioner guides individuals through a gentle, questioning process to help uncover negative beliefs that the person may not have been aware of having. In identifying the negative beliefs and negotiating for a new approach, the person is able to make changes they may never have experienced before.
History of Core Belief Engineering
Core Belief Engineering (CBE) was developed by Founder Elly Roselle in 1982 after she cured herself of a twenty year struggle with bulimia and anorexia. She realized that the change had occurred due to changing a fundamental belief system she held subconsciously.
She began experimenting with new ways to discover and change core beliefs. Through Extensive research, Elly created a process that allows people to experience spectacular results in minimal time. Elly called this Core Belief Engineering because it enables the re-engineering of outdated beliefs and automatic mental/emotional patterns.
The College of Core Belief Engineering (CCBE) is registered by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of British Columbia and has been a member of the Better Business Bureau since 1989. PCTIA is a provincial government agency that ensures educational institutions meet the quality standards of the Private Career Institutions Act of B.C. It is an expanding, reputable organization that is consistently being recommended by professionals as a rapid means of solving problematic belief systems. The standards and successful track record continues to prove the validity and depth of this approach as it expands across Canada.
